A few inadequacies of Kaiser Permanente Doctor's


 

While Kaiser Permanente is a well-known and respected healthcare organization, there are some criticisms and inadequacies that have been raised by patients and healthcare professionals. It is important to note that these criticisms may not be representative of the experiences of all patients or all doctors within the organization, as individual experiences can vary.


1. Limited Choice of Providers: One common criticism of Kaiser Permanente is that patients have a limited choice of healthcare providers. Kaiser operates as an integrated health system, meaning that patients must receive care from doctors within the Kaiser network. This can be problematic for individuals who prefer to have more options and the ability to choose their own doctors.

2. Long Wait Times: Some patients have reported long wait times for appointments and difficulty in accessing timely care. This can be a frustrating experience, especially for patients who require immediate attention or have urgent medical needs.

3. Lack of Continuity of Care: In an integrated health system like Kaiser Permanente, patients may see different doctors at each visit, leading to a lack of continuity of care. This can make it challenging for patients to develop a long-term relationship with a primary care physician and receive consistent, personalized care.

4. Communication Issues: Some patients have expressed concerns about the quality of communication with their Kaiser Permanente doctors. This may include difficulties in getting their questions answered, feeling rushed during appointments, or experiencing a lack of clear explanations regarding their health conditions and treatment options.

5. Limited Specialist Access: While Kaiser Permanente has a network of specialists, accessing specialized care may sometimes be challenging. Patients may need to go through a referral process or face waiting times to see a specialist, which can delay diagnosis and treatment.

6. Administrative Challenges: Some patients have reported difficulties navigating the administrative aspects of Kaiser Permanente, such as billing issues, insurance coverage complications, or challenges with obtaining necessary authorizations for treatments or procedures.

My personal experience with Kaiser Permanente Doctor's is not a good one, I've had to fire 4 of my doctor's who helped destroy my health, I was a very healthy person before letting the Kaiser doctors start managing my health care.  Presently I am on Home Hemodialysis caused by a Kaiser Permanente Doctor, who put me on Lysenapril for three years unsupervised, this left me with very little functioning kidney, the rest was killed of by over medication by the next doctor.  My advice is to manage your own care with clean foods, and no or low medication's if nessesary, know one knows you better than you know yourself.


Patient feedback and ongoing efforts to enhance the quality of care are crucial in addressing these concerns and providing better healthcare services.
